Grades 7 - 9
COUNSELORS-IN-TRAINING (CITs)
From Camper to Leader
Ready to take the next step at camp? Guides, our Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program, is designed for campers entering Grades 7–9 who are ready to grow as leaders.
Guides don’t just attend camp—they help shape the experience. This program offers hands-on work experience, meaningful mentorship, and focused leadership development in a supportive, encouraging environment. CITs are placed with groups of campers ages 4–8, where they assist with activities, support younger campers, and build confidence through real responsibility.
Guides gain valuable skills, make strong connections, and take an important step toward becoming future camp staff.
Flexible Commitment:
Enrollment is non-consecutive, requiring a four-week minimum commitment for maximum impact (Weeks 1–8).

Our Selection Process
-
Submit the CIT application and provide at least one reference (e.g. teacher, mentor, coach).
-
The camp leadership team will review all applications and invite selected candidates to a group interview.
-
Group interviews will include discussions, scenario-based activities, and team-building games.
-
Due to limited spots available each week, the CIT program is selective and competitive, with enrollment offered to the strongest candidates.
Round 1 Group Interview: Monday, February 16th at 5pm
Enrollment in the CIT program is contingent upon completing the application and group interview.
